At 2:30 a.m., our local guide picks up clients in tourist transport from hotels in downtown Arequipa, to begin our tour to the Colca Canyon.

The bus departs at 3:00 a.m. for Chivay (approximately a 3-hour journey), arriving at 6:00 a.m., where we will have breakfast. Then we continue our journey (about 2 more hours) to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where we can appreciate the magnitude of the Colca Canyon, the flight of the condors, and spectacular views for taking photos.

After this visit, we will return to Chivay, making stops in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches; we will also visit the Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints, where pre-Incan tombs and models can be seen.

Next, we'll head to the Calera hot springs, whose medicinal waters range in temperature from 35°C to 38°C. Lunch will be at 1:00 p.m. in Chivay. Finally, we'll return to Arequipa, stopping at the Mirador de los Volcanes (the highest point at 4,800 meters above sea level), the Tocra wetlands (where you can observe a variety of wild birds), and the Cañahuas plains (Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve), home to vicuñas. We'll arrive back in Arequipa at 6:00 p.m. and transfer guests back to their hotels.
