Cusco – Machu Picchu 1 full day
At 4:30 a.m., we pick up our passengers from their hotels in the city and depart for Ollantaytambo, a journey of approximately one and a half hours. There, we take the train to Aguas Calientes, a journey of about two hours. Upon arrival, we will immediately board the bus that will take us to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, a ride of about 20 minutes.
Upon arrival at the Sanctuary, we will take a guided tour led by a professional, exploring the most emblematic sites such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Intihuatana (Sundial), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the Royal Cemeteries, for approximately two and a half hours. After the guided tour, the guide will inform you about the return train schedule to Cusco.
During that time, passengers will be able to explore Machu Picchu on their own. At approximately 3:00 p.m., we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and then, in the afternoon, you will have time to explore the town a bit more before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo. Finally, we will board the bus to Cusco, arriving at approximately 10:00 p.m.
Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be transferred to your hotel.
