If you are in La Paz, a great option is to join a shared tour to visit Tiahuanaco.

On this shared tour, we pick up participants from various hotels in La Paz and head towards Tiahuanaco via an asphalt road; Tiahuanaco is located 72 km from La Paz.

Upon arriving in the town of Tiahuanaco, we will first visit the Lithic and Ceramic Museums, and then explore the Tiahuanaco archaeological site, where we will discover its main ceremonial centers, such as the Akapana Pyramid, the Semi-subterranean Temple, Keri Kala, Putuni, Katantallita, the Kalasasaya Temple, the Gate of the Sun, among others. The guided tour lasts approximately two and a half hours. After the tour, we will enjoy a typical lunch and then return to La Paz.
