Puno – Isla del Sol – La Paz 1 full day
At 6:50 a.m., our local guide will pick up passengers from their hotel in downtown Puno and transfer them to the bus station. At 7:30 a.m., the bus will depart for Copacabana, a journey of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Kasani, on the border between Peru and Bolivia, immigration control will be carried out at the corresponding offices. We will arrive in Copacabana around 11:30 a.m.
Next, we'll take a guided tour of the Copacabana Sanctuary, followed by lunch (not included in the tour price). At 1:30 p.m., we'll board our private speedboat for Isla del Sol, a 45-minute ride. Upon arriving at the southern part of the island, we'll spend between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours exploring, followed by a 30-minute hike to the Pilkokaina archaeological site, a sacred place dedicated to the Sun God, Inti.
After this guided tour, we will descend an ancient Inca trail, with its stone steps, to reach the Fountain of Youth, enjoying spectacular scenery along the way. At 4:15 p.m., we will return to Copacabana, and at 5:00 p.m., we will arrive at the port and transfer passengers to their hotels or the bus station to continue on to Puno or La Paz.
Finally, at 6:30 p.m., the bus will depart from Copacabana on a journey of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, finally arriving in Puno or La Paz.
