Puno – Copacabana – Isla del Sol – La Paz 1 full day
The tour begins at 6:30 a.m. with passenger pick-up from their hotel in downtown Puno. From there, they will board a bus to Copacabana, Bolivia, where they will explore the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Copacabana. Later, they will embark on a catamaran cruise to Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun), the cradle of the Inca Empire, and enjoy refreshments along the way.
On the mythical Island of the Sun, you will explore the Garden, the staircases, the Inca fountain, and then visit the Inti Wata cultural complex, Bolivia's premier private tourist attraction. You will also discover the Ekeko underground museum, traditional medicine centers, the construction of totora reed boats, and the Pachamama terraces, where you can observe Inca agriculture, a craft center, the Intica refuge, and a wide variety of Andean camelids at the Manco Capac viewpoint.
The visit to the Inti Wata complex includes a ride on a typical totora reed boat and a panoramic view of the Inca palace of Pilkokaina.
At the end of the visit, you will re-embark on the catamaran to return to Copacabana, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch and the stunning panoramic view of Lake Titicaca, before transferring back to La Paz.
