Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas 1 full day
At 8:00 a.m., we pick up our passengers from their hotels and depart for the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There, we will explore iconic sites such as the traditional market and the Pisac archaeological complex, located atop a mountain. From there, you can admire the agricultural terraces, cemeteries, and Inca constructions, and it's an ideal spot for photographing the Andes Mountains.
Continuing our journey along the banks of the Vilcanota River, we will pass through the indigenous villages of Lamay, Calca, and Yucay. At approximately 1:20 p.m., we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant in Urubamba. After about 30 minutes of travel, we will arrive in the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will hike uphill to the fortress. From there, we can admire the surrounding agricultural areas and enjoy a panoramic view of the town.
Around 4:30 p.m., we will begin our return to the city of Cusco, passing through Chinchero, where we will make a brief 30-minute stop to visit the royal hacienda and the colonial church. At 6:15 p.m., we will continue our journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m. at Plaza San Francisco in Cusco.
