At 8:30 a.m., we pick up our passengers from their hotels and depart for Maras and Moray. During the drive, we'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains of La Verónica and Chikón (approximately one hour). Upon arriving in the town of Maras, we'll admire its colonial architecture and traditional charm. Next, we'll visit the archaeological site of Moray, known for its enormous concentric terraces. Afterward, we'll head to the salt mines. Around 2:30 p.m., we'll return to the city of Cusco.

MORAY ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE:
This is a series of circular terraces arranged in the shape of a deep, multi-level pit. In Inca times, this site was used as a laboratory to study the climate and adapt new plants to the environment. The terraces are approximately 150 meters deep, and the temperature varies according to the level.

MARAS ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE:
It is located about 52 km from Cusco. From there, you can admire the Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of La Verónica (5,682 m.a.s.l.) and Chikón (5,530 m.a.s.l.). Maras's importance lies in its salt mines, which consist of some 3,000 small pits, each approximately 5 m². These salt flats have been exploited since Inca times and were fundamental to economic exchange.
