Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas – Machu Picchu 3 days 2 nights
Day 01: City tour in Cusco
Upon arrival, we will pick up passengers at the airport or bus station and transfer them to their hotel. The morning will be free for you to settle in and acclimatize. The tour will begin between 1:20 and 1:45 p.m., and we will depart from your hotels to explore the center of Cusco. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), and then explore the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, and the Sacsayhuaman artisan market. At approximately 6:30 p.m., we will return to Cusco, arriving back at the Plaza San Francisco area.
Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas
At 8:00 a.m., our guide will pick up passengers in a tour bus to depart for the Sacred Valley. We will visit iconic sites such as the traditional market and the archaeological site of Pisac, where we will admire the agricultural terraces, cemeteries, and Inca architecture—perfect for photographs. Afterward, we will continue our tour along the banks of the Vilcanota River, passing through the towns of Lamay, Calca, and Yucay.
Afterwards, we'll enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant in Urubamba. Later, after a short drive, we'll arrive in Ollantaytambo, where we'll hike to the fortress and then have free time to explore the town. At the end of the day, we'll head to the train station to continue to Aguas Calientes. We'll arrive at the station at 6:30 p.m. and board the 7:00 p.m. train, arriving around 8:45 p.m., where we'll check into our hotel.
Day 03: Machu Picchu Sanctuary
At 6:30 a.m., after breakfast, we will depart for the bus station in Aguas Calientes to take the bus to Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately 30 minutes. At 7:45 a.m., we will meet at the entrance to the Sanctuary to begin the guided tour, exploring key sites such as the agricultural sector, the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Inti Watana, and the Temple of the Three Windows.
After the guided tour, passengers will have free time to explore and take photos. At 1:00 p.m., we will return to Aguas Calientes, where lunch will be served (not included). In the afternoon, you will have time to explore the town and, optionally, visit the hot springs. At 6:00 p.m., we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from there, a vehicle will take us back to Cusco, arriving around 10:30 p.m. at Plaza San Francisco or Plaza de Armas.
